A cake with a topper needs a different clearance review from a row of pastries. A window changes the display and panel layout; a handle changes the carrying construction. Choose the format from the packed product and handover route, then coordinate any outer paper bag.
| Format | Where it fits | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Window cake box | Showing the product while packed. | Check window position, remaining panel frame and decoration clearance. |
| Tall cake box | Extra space for a high cake or attached topper. | Measure the full board, highest point and opening/closing motion. |
| Individual dessert box | One delicate entremet or decorated pastry. | Check the serving base, locator and clean removal access. |
| Carry-handle box | A carton with an integrated grip for handover. | Review handle connections, locking tabs, base and filled weight. |
| Multi-piece pastry carton | Several pastries, cupcakes or confectionery pieces. | Specify piece sizes, count, separators and any insert layout. |
For cakes, measure the complete board and the highest and widest decoration, not only the baked cake diameter. For pastries, provide the serving base, number of pieces and their arrangement. State units, filled weight, loading direction and packing or storage conditions. Confirm interior fit separately from the outside carton size used for a carry bag.
Identify the materials that directly touch food, and distinguish them from the outer carry packaging. Include boards, liners, inserts and window materials in that brief. A kraft appearance, a clear window or a bakery photo does not establish suitability for every food, temperature or moisture condition.
Box size, paperboard, window area, handle geometry, dividers, liners, print and number of versions affect the scope. List the board and bag if they are needed. The approved sample should represent the complete packing arrangement rather than an empty carton with the logo only.
No single allowance suits every decoration and board. Provide the actual dimensions and loading method, then approve the clearance on a fit sample.
State the conditions and duration needed for your use. Paper, window and attachment choices must be reviewed for that requirement; the photo is not a storage test.
No component should be assumed. List the board, liner, insert, window and carry bag you want in the quotation.
Compare the largest base and decorated envelope as well as the most delicate product. A shared carton may require a different locator or packing arrangement.
