Measure the full decorated product
Provide board width or diameter and the fully decorated height, including toppers. Side decorations also need clearance. State whether the cake will be packed cold or at another condition that affects the packaging requirements.
Review windows and carrying
A viewing window must work with the selected structure and product position. If a handle is required, provide the filled weight and intended handling route before developing the sample.
Identify food-contact surfaces
State which materials directly touch the food and what documentation the destination buyer requires. Box, cake board, liner, window and adhesives may have different roles in the finished package.
Approve with the actual cake or dimensional reference
Use a fit sample to review clearance, board placement, opening and handling. Confirm production dimensions in writing and plan freight transit separately from the 10–15-day production time.
