What gives a drawer box a controlled opening?
The sleeve and tray need a workable fit with the chosen wrap, insert and product weight. A tight empty drawer can become difficult to use once filled; a loose tray may move during handling. Review the assembled, loaded sample in the intended opening direction. The dark presentation illustrates a fitted multi-item layout, not a fixed product count.

List the complete product dimensions and the face you want visible when the drawer opens. Allow for the insert, tray walls and access to lift the item out. Record usable tray space separately from the sleeve exterior. Specify whether the box will stand upright or lie flat, and whether the pull ribbon must remain visible when packed.

Plan for the delivery orientation
A drawer opening upward and one opening sideways behave differently under the product weight. Specify the sales and shipping orientation and any outer protective packing.

A drawer quotation includes both sleeve and tray, their wrap and assembly, the pull detail, insert and branding. Deeper overlap or several insert cavities change the construction. Confirm assembled carton packing and sample requirements before comparing the unit price with a lift-off or magnetic box.

Questions About Custom Sliding Drawer Gift Boxes
Can the drawer hold several products?
Yes, a divided or fitted layout can be reviewed around measured items. Include every item and its removal order rather than scaling from the reference photo.
Will the drawer stay shut during shipping?
A sleeve fit alone does not establish transit retention. Share the shipment route and orientation so protective outer packing and any additional closure needs can be reviewed.
Is the pull ribbon a carry handle?
Not by default. The pull is for opening the tray unless a separate load-bearing requirement is specified and approved.
How is a drawer different from a magnetic box?
The tray slides through a sleeve rather than opening on a flap. Choose based on product access, display and packing requirements, then compare equivalent material and finish scopes.
