One assembly is not a reuse claim
A box supplied flat is not necessarily designed for repeated flattening. If repeat folding is required, state it before choosing the construction.
Collapsible magnetic gift boxes are designed to travel or store flat and be formed into a rigid-style presentation box before use. They can suit brands that can assemble packaging at the destination and want to review storage and packing volume alongside the gift presentation.

Consider the complete workflow: how boxes arrive, who forms them, where the assembled stock is stored and how the gifts are packed. Flat supply can change carton volume, but it does not guarantee a lower delivered cost. Compare actual packing dimensions, assembly requirements and quantities with an assembled alternative.
Begin with the product and insert inside the formed box. Confirm usable interior and finished exterior dimensions after assembly. Ask for the flat panel footprint, the corner-fixing method and the required assembly sequence. If a separate insert or lining is included, confirm whether it arrives flat, separate or already fitted. The folded and formed states need to be reviewed together.
| Decision | Starting direction | Check before approval |
|---|---|---|
| Corner fixing | A folding construction with the agreed corner attachment. | Check alignment, adhesive or other fixing, and any preparation needed before packing. |
| Magnetic flap | A formed lid and closing flap with the specified magnet layout. | Confirm flap alignment after assembly and with the contents installed. |
| Insert and lining | A removable or separately assembled insert where the layout allows it. | Review whether it changes flat packing, setup time or usable space. |
| Outer packing | Flat panels and components packed to the agreed carton plan. | Compare units per carton, carton dimensions and gross weight with the assembled route. |

A box supplied flat is not necessarily designed for repeated flattening. If repeat folding is required, state it before choosing the construction.
Corner positioning and fixing influence the final square shape and lid fit. Review the instructions and the formed sample with the team that will pack the products.
Compare the same formed box size, board, wrap, insert and finish across flat and assembled options. Then add component packing, destination assembly and shipment volume. CheriPack confirms the complete scope from your actual order; no fixed percentage freight saving is assumed.
A collapsible box changes both the shipping pack and the work at receipt. Ask how the walls are formed, where any adhesive tabs attach, and when the insert is installed. Compare actual carton data and assembly needs with an assembled box before choosing the supply format.
Have the intended packing team form the sample using the supplied sequence.
Inspect corners, wall alignment, hinge and magnetic flap after assembly.
Confirm flat packing, component protection, units per carton and carton dimensions.
Do not assume repeated flattening. Tell us if reuse in a flat state is required so the fixing and construction can be reviewed for that specific purpose.
It changes the packing format, but delivered cost also depends on carton dimensions, weight, route and assembly. Compare the actual carton plans rather than a general savings percentage.
Ask how the insert is supplied and installed. A separate tray may affect both the packed volume and destination assembly sequence.
Approve the formed usable interior and closed exterior, then record the flat supply dimensions separately. They describe different stages of the box.
Do not assume repeated collapsing. Some constructions use fixing tabs or assembly steps intended for one setup. Specify whether repeated folding is needed and review that use separately on the selected construction.
